What happens when we die? Only two things can occur: either we will find our names written in the Lamb's Book of Life and be admitted to heaven to spend eternity with Jesus Christ, or (for those who refuse to believe) be sent away to eternal punishment. Only those who place their complete faith and trust in our Savior can be saved from the coming wrath of God, when the earth will be consumed by fire. Which do you choose? For me, I choose eternal life, and I encourage and exhort all who aspire to something better and to becoming something more to join the rest of His family of believers. Place your faith in Jesus Christ. Ask Him to come in and assume control of your life, your destiny, and most important of all, your eternity with Him forever in Heaven. You can ask him any way you want, in your own words, to take charge of your life and where you will spend eternity. Confess your sins to Jesus and ask Him to forgive you. Don't worry, He always does. Then, most of all, repent -- or turn away from -- your old ways and your old life, and sin no more, knowing that God is watching and listening to everything that we do or say. In deciding whether something is good or bad, simply ask yourself if you could do that with Jesus in the room. Because He is.
At the End of the Day, its all about Jesus. So are we!
Everybody has their faults, character flaws, personality defects, and their fair share of emotional issues that they would rather not talk about, myself included. This can be due to a lack of forgiveness towards others and ourselves, or anger management issues like a bad temper, or leftover childhood issues that refuse to die for whatever reason. The question becomes, then, what can we do about all this?
The first thing we must remember is that we can't fix all our problems all by ourselves all the time. We have a moral obligation to recognize that we are in need of Spiritual intervention if we are to be successful in moving up to the next level from a Spiritual standpoint, and that divine intervention can only come from Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God. Jesus is the only religious deity that sacrificed Himself for the sins of His followers. Buddha didn't do it, Confucius didn't either, and ditto for Mohammad the "prophet". Jesus Christ stands alone in this regard, and it is so because He is the Son of God. Let's look at what the Bible says about this:
"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more will we be saved from God's wrath through him! For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation." (Romans 4; verses 6-11)
And the Apostle John wrote: "My dear children, I write this to you so that you may not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense -- Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but for the sins of the whole world." (1 John chapter 2, verses 1 and 2)
Make an affirmative decision for Jesus Christ right now. Surrender your soul to him so that He may make you complete. There are so many millions who have so little time left and they don't even know it. Don't be like those people -- ask Jesus to save your soul no matter where you are, or who you are, or what you've done. He isn't interested in your past. But, He's very concerned about your eternity.
